Detox H20 for Clear Skin

If you’re like me… then your skin care at the moment is seriously lacking! I don’t know if its hormonal, stress, or the fact that I still touch my face. But whatever may be the reason I’ve been having some random AF breakouts. So without further ado here are my top 5 clear skin detox drinks:

  1. A small slice of watermelon + a handful of strawberries

  2. Half an orange + handful of blueberries + 5 mint leaves

  3. Half an apple + 1 cinnamon stick

  4. Half a cucumber + 1 lemon + 5 mint leaves

  5. 1 green tea bag + 1 lemon

all of these can be mixed with 1 to 2 liters of filtered water.

The fourth one is probably the most popular! Cucumbers are mostly water so it can easily boost hydration. Lemons are perfect to naturally cleanse your body, it flushes out your toxins and help with digestion. As for mint.. this is also good to help with digestion and it’s it good to just throw in any drink.

The key to having clear skin is drinking tons of water and avoiding surgery drinks, alcohol, and anything that dehydrates your body (ie. coffee). I know this may seem hard to do… but taking little steps here and there will make it a little more manageable. So instead of gobbling down three cups of coffee in the morning try switching it up to a cup of green tea every other day. As for alcohol, maybe stick to a drink or two and not a whole bottle of Pinot Noir or Absolute Vodka.
