Food & Wine Pairings

There’s a few things that I’ve come to love, wine is one of them. Maybe four to five years ago, it wasn’t so much my thing but after working in that industry, I may love it more than Makers Mark! Some of it is an acquired taste while the other is a preference. Just like I’m not a fan of sour beer, I’m not a fan of a sweet wine. One I just don’t have the taste for it, and two the alcohol content is extremely low. I just can’t justify the calories and carbs for it, so I just don’t bother with it.

When I first got into wine, it was hard for me decide what to pair with my meals. So I did the rookie mistake/expensive mistake and just bought different wines and had them all opened in the refrigerator. Yes, they were corked and/or screwed on! But that’s not the point. The point is, I’ve learned from my mistakes and now I’m here to help you not make the same ones. So, sorry not sorry for those extra sweet wine lovers, this post might not be for you! (But you should give this a try anyways).
